Hyderabad: Winsupply Inc, has launched its new Global Development Center (GDC) in Hyderabad. Winsupply, headquartered in Dayton, USA, is a leading wholesale distribution company for residential and commercial construction. Winsupply has majority ownership in over 650 companies across the United States.
Christopher Schrameck, Senior Vice President of Information Technology, Winsupply met with Principal Secretary for IT and Industries Jayesh Ranjan and Relationship Manager Amarnath Reddy Atmakuri to discuss future plans for Winsupply’s GDC in Hyderabad. During the meeting, he expressed plans to increase the strength of the GDC to over 100 IT engineers over the next two years during its first phase.
The Winsupply team was able to visit T-Hub and T-Works, the Telangana government’s innovation center for start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs. Later, Schrameck met with TASK CEO Shrikant Sinha. He was impressed with the Academy’s focus on preparing students with skills that will serve many of the world’s largest companies currently operating in Hyderabad.
In 2022, Winsupply’s projected revenues should exceed $7 billion, and have been growing annually at a rate of more than 20% for the past two years. Winsupply’s hiring targets to start their business will be achieved through a partnership with Smartdata DBA SDS IT Solutions, Hyderabad. Both companies have their roots in Dayton.
“Hyderabad’s ability to attract multinational companies is a testament to the efforts of the Telangana government. Telangana provides an excellent infrastructure and has a large pool of skilled talent. We thank Winsupply for trusting us. We are confident that Hyderabad Center will surpass all its growth estimates and become a key driver of global growth,” said Jayesh Ranjan.
