UCO appoints Fall 2021 class commissioners
The University of Central Oklahoma has appointed five students as class trustees for their respective colleges for the fall semester of 2021.
Students obtain the title of class marshal for having obtained the best academic results within their colleges during their stay at the UCO.
Katelynn Patton Gauvin, major in Nursing with a GPA of 4.0 at the College of Mathematics and Science. Originally from Edmond, Gauvin is a member of the Nursing Student Association and the Council of Tomorrow’s Leaders. She received the Leaders of Tomorrow Fellowship and was placed on the President’s Honor Roll.
Caleb Holcomb, major in audio production at the UCO Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM @ UCO) with a cumulative GPA of 3.97 at the College of Fine Arts and Design. A native of Tyler, Texas, he is the recipient of the East Texas Christian Academy Alumni Scholarship.
Han Seth Lu, Major in Early Childhood Education with a GPA of 4.0 at the College of Education and Vocational Studies. Originally from Bago, Myanmar, Lu is a member of the UCO International Student Council, the President’s Board of Directors, the UCO Students Association, and the Association of South Asian Nations. -Is the OCU. He has also been a UCO Student Ambassador and UCO Global Leadership Ambassador. He received the Legacy Award from the President’s Leadership Council, four Outstanding Student Leader Awards, the Mr. International 2019-2020 title and a place on the President’s Honor Roll.
Amanda Rebman, major in sociology and criminal justice with a cumulative average of 4.0 at the College of Liberal Arts. A graduate of Del City High School in Oklahoma City, Rebman is a member of the UCO Medieval Society, the President’s Leadership Council, and President and Founder of Circle K International. She is a recipient of the Sid Brown Fellowship in Criminal Justice, the Odom Outreach Fellowship in Sociology, and the Dr. Jamie Burns Fellowship in Criminal Justice. She was also a member of the UCO Criminal Justice Honor Society and the President’s Honor Roll.
Bingxu Zhao, major in general business with a cumulative GPA of 3.91 in the College of Business. Originally from Anshan, China, she is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and has been listed on the President’s Honor Roll.
