The Institute is now one of 19 selected institutions in the country (including 8 other IIMs) whose MBA programs are integrated into the CFA Institute’s academic affiliation program.
Visakhapatnam: IIM Visakhapatnam has become the latest business school to be accepted into the CFA Institute University Affiliate Program. IIMV’s PGP program has been recognized as incorporating at least 70 percent of the body of knowledge of applicants to the CFA (CBOK) program and emphasizing the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct within from the program. The Institute is now one of 19 selected institutions in the country (including 8 other IIMs) whose MBA programs are integrated into the CFA Institute’s academic affiliation program.
“Entry into the CFA Institute University Affiliate Program signals to prospective students, employers and the market that the IIMV program is closely related to professional practice and is ideally suited for preparing students for the CFA exams. Through its participation in this program, IIVI is eligible to receive a limited number of CFA program scholarships each year, ”said Professor Chandrasekhar, Director of the Institute.
