Anandayya’s Covid drug distributed at 40K in Mancherial


Mancherial: Akhila Bharatiya Ayyappa Dharma Prachara Sabha (ABAP), a religious organization, distributed a special Covid-19 drug formulated and prepared by Ayurvedic medicine practitioner Anandayya free of charge to a record 40,000 people, including frontline workers, rickshaw drivers, private employees and professionals here on Monday.

ABAP State Secretary General Bheti Tirumal Rao as well as Mancherial Municipal Vice President and Honorary District Chairman Gajula Mukesh Goud and former Mancherial MP G Aravind Reddy, kicked off the program, which garnered an overwhelming response from people of all ages going directly to volunteers and Lord Ayyappa’s devotees were deployed to crowd control.

Tirumal Rao said the drug was distributed in Telangana for the first time, facing many obstacles. Gajula Mukesh Goud said everyone should become a partner to make Mancherial a Covid-free entity. He expressed his gratitude to the organization for choosing the district to donate the miracle drug. He thanked those who provided their cooperation in organizing the event.

Pranav, son of Anandayya, advised people to consume the recipe twice a day. He suggested the public not to eat or drink liquids for 30 minutes after taking the drug. People over 5 years old could have Ayurvedic medicine. However, pregnant and menstruating women should not take it and one should drink more water than usual after taking the drug, he explained.

Member of ABAP National Executive Board Rajender Goud, Co-Secretary of State Telu Srinivas, Zone Secretary Ambilapu Srinivas, Public Relations Officer Mittapalli Sampath Rao, Thota Praveen Organization District Representatives, Raghupathi Rao , Bhaskarla Rajesham, Shiva Reddy, Bethi Sathyanarayana, Arava Raju Srinivas Raju and many others were present.
